“Lainey Wilson is a singer through and through. So am I. Her band rocks. We rock. They want to play epic sets. And yes, I mean, when we were in Australia, we did three shows with them and we were out, just standing out in front of house watching the show, just having a ball. And it’s really cool. I mean, the other night we did ‘Good Horses.’ She sent me that a couple weeks ago. She was like, ‘Do you wanna hop up for this?’ And I was like, ‘Hell, yeah!’ No, Lainey, uhh, pass. But no, she wants to make really great records, and I wanna make really great records. And, you know, I’ve known Lainey for a good while now. I knew that girl before she got a bus. You know, I was literally there prior to them getting their first bus. And I think there is a lot of similarity between the two of us in terms of what’s driving us and how passionate we are about it.”
