Jackson Dean is unquestionably an old soul, and most people are surprised to learn he’s only 23 years old. He’ll celebrate his 24th birthday this Sunday, on November 6th. He’s also an outdoorsman, a survivalist and he enjoys hunting, which is why he was so excited one birthday present in particular he got as a kid.

“Favorite birthday present ever? I got a full stock 870 12 gauge for my birthday one year. I was about 12 years old. I got a case, a whole bunch of shells and the gun itself, and they all gave them to me like from different people. Like they gave me the shells. And then they gave me … they did this little thing. So, yeah, probably my 870.”
