DEBUT SINGLE – “Don’t Come Lookin’”
Fourth of July is coming up, and Jackson Dean, who used to love to run off into the woods by himself for hours, sometimes whole days, when he was a kid, seems like he could have been the type of kid that would get into some mischief with fireworks as a kid, but he says, “Uhhh, no explosives, no. I was always more of a fire kid, like stoke a fire and just have a good fire, you’re fine.”
Jackson says he didn’t have anything against fireworks in general. “I mean, we used to go watch fireworks every year at the (Bowie) Baysox stadium, and go down to Duck Beach and watch ‘em on the beach.”
But blowing stuff up or doing anything dangerous with ‘em wasn’t really his thing. “I like fireworks enough,” says Jackson, “but I wasn’t like settin’ ‘em off and pointin’ them at people’s houses or nothin’ crazy like that.”
