(AUDIO) JACKSON DEAN WOULD RATHER PLAY SPORTS THAN WATCH THEM

DEBUT SINGLE : “Don’t Come Lookin’”

Later tonight a lot of people will probably be watching Kansas and UNC face off in the NCAA Men’s Championship basketball game, but chances are Jackson Dean will be off doing something else, because he admits, “I never really watched sports.”

Jackson Dean played football in high school.  In fact, it was a video of him in his football uniform and pads with a guitar, singing a truly unique countrified version of the Star Spangled Banner before he took the field with the Arundel Wildcats that went viral and caught the attention of Nashville.  But when it comes to sports, Jackson says, “I just love to play ‘em. I just love being active and hittin’ somebody, really. I like that angle of it but I never really watched much sports. It wasn’t my thing. I was always off doing something.”

For Jackson, doing something as a kid consisted of running off into the woods near his house, getting away from the world and creating his own adventures.
