Jackson Dean has been working hard this year, so he’s definitely looking forward to a little down time to spend Thanksgiving with his family shooting some clay pigeons and eating beets.

“We usually cook a big spread. We’ve been doing Thanksgiving at my cousin’s house for probably about seven years now. She’s an incredible cook and she cooks for an army. And usually about 30 of us show up, and we’ll shoot skeet all day, and then come in and have a nice big meal. All the things. Biscuits, mashed potatoes, turkey, beets. My mom does sliced beets every year, and I only ever really eat beets at Thanksgiving or Christmas.”
