(AUDIO) JENNIFER NETTLES DIDN’T KNOW TO BE NERVOUS ON DOLLY PARTON MOVIE

Just in time for the holidays, Jennifer Nettles will be starring in the second Dolly Parton television movie, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, coming up at the end of the month.  When she filmed the first one, even though she was working with a legend like Dolly and other great actors like Rick Schroeder, Jennifer admits she wasn’t overly nervous going in.  “You know what, I guess ignorance is bliss because I felt nervous the first day in terms of, okay, what is this world going to be? You know this world of film for example, with Coat of Many Colors. And am I going to be able to actually produce what they need me to? But I felt fairly confident in my ability to express an emotion and to do that.”

Jennifer, whose new holiday album, To Celebrate Christmas, is available now, says when it comes to acting, “You just get out there and do it. I mean you don’t really have a choice once you’re at that point, you know, you just sort of jump in.”

Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, starring Jennifer Nettles, will premiere on November 30th on NBC, and then will be available for purchase on DVD on December 20th.
