(AUDIO) JENNIFER NETTLES IS OPEN TO WHAT BROADWAY HAS TO OFFER

Jennifer Nettles is busy with her singing career, promoting her latest single, “Hey Heartbreak,” and getting ready to get back on the road in 2017, but she’s also always keeping an eye on what’s happening in the world of Broadway.  Jennifer loved her time on Broadway playing Roxie Hart in Chicago, and she would love to do another Broadway show if and when the time allows and the right part comes along.  It would be hard for her to pick a dream role because Jennifer says, “I could name so many of them that I like but the reality is there is such a hustle and such a shuffle on what shows, if there are new shows coming in, and not shows that are, just happened to be on there now, and when I say on there I mean on Broadway now, that you never know what it’s going to be.  So it’s a bit of a kind of a hurry up and wait until you get some sort of offer or you see what’s happening.”

For now, Jennifer will keep an eye on opportunities and hope that the right role will come along at the right time and she’ll be able to make her return to the Broadway stage.

Jennifer Nettles – dream Broadway role  :23

“You know what the thing about that is I could name so many of them that I like but the reality is there is such a hustle and such a shuffle on what shows, if there are new shows coming in, and not shows that are, just happened to be on there now, and when I say on there I mean on Broadway now, that you never know what it’s going to be.  So it’s a bit of a kind of a hurry up and wait until you get some sort of offer or you see what’s happening.”
