Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland has a five year old son named Magnus and she says he has an idea of what his mommy does for a living but doesn’t necessarily understand her career entirely.  “I mean he definitely does know that I sing,” says Jennifer, “but I was told the other day by one of his teachers at school that one of his little classmates had asked and said ‘What does your mommy do?’ And she said ‘Magnus, tell Laura what mommy does for a living, what is she?’ And he said, ‘She’s a princess.’”

Jennifer loved that answer and she joked, “Yes I am, yes in fact I am! And what do you want? I’ll buy you all the toys it doesn’t matter.  So I think he’s aware in some ways. You know, he definitely knows that music is a part of it and that I sing but he doesn’t understand more than that.”

Princess Jennifer is getting ready to hit the road when Sugarland kicks off their Still the Same Tour, named after their current single, in less than a month.
