Memorial Day is coming up this Monday, and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland recalls one of her most memorable Memorial Days was one where she truly got to celebrate those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country while serving in the military. Jennifer says, “I guess it was three or four years ago, I played the Memorial Concert in D.C., and that is for the D.C. community but also for the soldiers there and the families there. And it is to commemorate the fallen and it is a powerful, powerful, experience to be able to celebrate, especially on Memorial Day, the sacrifices that these brave men and women have made.”
Sugarland will release their brand new album, Bigger, featuring their latest single, “Babe,” in less than two weeks on June 8th.
