While Jennifer Nettles job might seem more fun and glamorous to some people than their own 9 to 5, at the end of the day, she’s just like every other working mom who’s trying to balance career and family and trying to keep up with the demands of both. Jennifer says, “Just because some of it might be hard work and some of it might be heart work, meaning that you do it with the wholeness of your heart out of the love of your family, it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s all joyous and smiles and easy. You know we are only one person. As my mother continually reminds me, just reminded me yesterday she had to remind me like, “You are only one person, Jennifer, you can only do so much.”
Lately Jennifer has been quite busy promoting her new Christmas album, To Celebrate Christmas, her latest single, “Hey Heartbreak,” and her upcoming television movie, Dolly Parton’s Christmas of Many Colors: Circle of Love, which will air November 30th on NBC.
