One thing that draws thousands of country music fans to the CMA Music Festival in Nashville every year is the chance to see and possibly talk to some of their favorite stars. When asked who he would like to sit down and talk to, living or dead, if he could, Jon Jones of Eli Young Band chose a lot of artists and celebrities who are no longer with us, like Elvis , Michael Jackson and Marilyn Monroe. “I think it would be an absolute blast to sit down and talk to a sober Elvis,” says Jon. “Like, maybe an Elvis who, after he died, he could look back on everything with a sober head, a clear head, and I’d like to sit down and talk to him, write a book with him. There’s just something about the people that did it first, that had that celebrity first, and were thrown into that.”
Chances are, plenty of fans will be coming to Nashville hoping for the chance to talk to Jon and the rest of Eli Young Band about their new single and EP, both entitled “Turn It On.”
