Justin Moore will launch The Country On It! Tour with Granger Smith on April 22nd, and he says, “I’m really, really excited to be able to go out and work with him.”
Not only do Justin and Granger have a lot in common in terms of their families, their faith and their fans, but it turns out they’re both morning show radio hosts now, which means they have even more to talk about when they hang out together. Justin is part of a sports/talk morning show, and Granger hosts a country music morning show, and Justin says, “He was just on my podcast actually, a couple weeks back for the second time. And we talked about the tour and we were talkin’ about the fact that when we put this together, he was the first guy we went after. And when we got it worked out and he said yes, I had no idea that he was gonna be doing this radio thing. I had zero clue about that. If I had known, it would’ve made it even sweeter, obviously. But I had no clue, so that was neat to hear.”
Granger also had no idea that Justin was getting up every morning at 4am to host a radio show when they worked out going on tour together, Justin says, when Granger came on his podcast recently, “We were talkin’ about the fact that, man, are we out of our damn minds? What in the world are we doin’?“
At least if they’re both tired and draggin’ from staying up late to play a show then getting up before the sun the next morning to host a radio show, Justin and Granger will have each other to commiserate with.
