Justin Moore is a busy guy these days, promoting his new single, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home,” traveling the country on his latest tour and getting ready to release his fifth studio album. When he does get some free time and a chance to get away from it all, he says, “My absolute favorite way to do it would be to have my parents watch the kids and just stay home. I’m pretty fond of my house because I don’t get to stay at it very often. And it’s kind of set up to have a good time, whether it be riding four wheelers or hang out at the bar area or whatever.”
With four young kids, Justin also thinks it’s important for him and his wife to get away every now and then. He says, “When Kate and I have an opportunity to go away for a few days that’s always fun. And obviously it’s good for us personally, but it’s good for our marriage. You got to do that as parents. You gotta pass the kids on to grandma and grandpa for three or four days every now and then and kinda check out for a minute.”
Justin may have to wait a little while for a couple’s getaway because his current tour runs through mid-March.
