Justin Moore made the decision several years ago to move out of Nashville and back to his home state of Arkansas, where he is raising his three daughters with his wife Kate, and he says, “It’s awesome.”
Getting to raise his daughters in a small town environment is important to Justin because he says, “They don’t have normal lives. I’ve said this for a long time that I never want my decision to do this for a living to negatively affect them. I think being in an environment in which we have much more control of everything that goes on in our life living back home. It makes me feel better, whether or not it in fact is reality. It makes me feel better about it.”
Justin loves knowing that people at his daughter’s school are looking out for her, not because she’s “Justin Moore’s daughter,” but simply because they care about her. That makes it easier for him to leave home, whether to promote his new single, “Somebody Else Will,” or to go on tour, knowing that his girls are growing up in a loving environment where they are well cared for.

Justin Moore – raising daughters in small town :40
“It’s awesome, you know. They don’t have normal lives. I’ve said this for a long time that I never want my decision to do this for a living to negatively affect them. I think being in an environment in which we have much more control of everything that goes on in our life living back home. It makes me feel better, whether or not it in fact is reality. It makes me feel better about it. Her teacher next year in first grade will be my first grade teacher. People down there, I know they’re all looking out for her. And they’re not looking out for her because she’s Justin Moore’s daughter or because she’s Justin’s daughter. It’s because they truly care about her.”
