CURRENT SINGLE: “We Didn’t Have Much”
Justin Moore is fortunate that he has a group of country music buddies that he can call or text when he needs someone to talk to who understands his job and his lifestyle. “Yeah, as far as artists go, I’ve got a handful that I speak with I would say pretty frequently,” says Justin. “Brantley‘s a guy who I talk with a lot. Colt Ford‘s a good friend of mine. I talk to him a number of times. A number of guys that we’ve had on the podcast – Riley Green, Chris Janson. Jon Pardi I’ve caught up with.”
Whether it was dealing with the anxiety and the frustration of not being able to tour for a year and a half during the pandemic, or just talking about life on the road, playing shows, in the studio, Justin says, “Whether it be one conversation or whether it be a conversation a week, depending on who we’re talkin’ about, I mean, all those conversations I think for sure help.”
Justin has friends who are not in country music that he enjoys hanging out with and talking to about everyday life stuff, but when it comes to talking about his career which is pretty unique, he says, “It’s hard to talk to your buddies back home. They don’t really understand. I mean they’re there for you, but they don’t really get it.”
