current single: “TIME’S TICKING” featuring Dierks Bentley
Justin Moore loves his career and he couldn’t imagine doing anything else with his life, but as a father of four kids, ranging in age from 7 ½ to 15, the one thing Justin would change about his job if he could, is having to miss even a minute of his kids growing up. Just as Justin sings about in his latest single, “Time’s Ticking,” life, and especially his kids’ childhoods are flying by way too fast, and he wishes there was a way he could slow it down.
Justin Moore – stop kids growing :40
“No doubt about it. If there’s one thing you wish you could slow down as a parent, it’d be … we always tell the kids, we wish we could just put a hat on you so where you stop growin’. But I hate it. I really do. We’re fortunate now that when we go on the road, we can really kind of shape our touring to fit the kids schedule and all that. But it sucks. There’s no other way around it. FaceTimin’s great but it ain’t the real deal. It goes by in a hurry. You know, parents or grandparents or aunts, uncles, they tell you, ‘You’ll look up and you’ll have a teenager.’ or ‘You’ll look up and, you know, they’ll be going to college.’ And it’s wild for sure.”
