(AUDIO) Justin Moore Is A Huge, Huge Fan Of History

When Justin Moore isn’t busy with his music career and promoting his new single, “Home Sweet Home,” he loves reading about history and exploring historical sites. “I don’t know if I would consider myself a history buff,” says Justin, “but I am a huge, huge fan of history, and I think that came from my Grandma growin’ up. She was always kind of a history nut and I spent a lot of time, obviously, with her and my Grandpa.

One advantage to touring all over the country is that Justin can sometimes get out and actually see some of the historical sites. He says, “Anytime we’re in a city or a state where significant events occurred I usually try to get out and take full advantage of checkin’ things out.”

Justin is spending his summer doing his own headlining dates and opening some shows for Miranda Lambert on her Platinum Tour. You can see a full list of his tour dates here.

Justin Moore – something fans might not know :56
“I don’t know if I would consider myself a history buff, but I am a huge, huge fan of history, and I think that came from my Grandma growin’ up. She was always kind of a history nut and I spent a lot of time, obviously, with her and my Grandpa. I remember when I was seven, eight, nine years old, every year we went to an exhibit in Memphis where they would have some influential person from our history, whether it be Catherine The Great or Napoleon Bonaparte or whoever it was. We used to go to those and I was eight years old and was just in heaven, which is kinda strange lookin’ back on it. But I love history. Anytime we’re in a city or a state where significant events occurred I usually try to get out and take full advantage of checkin’ things out.”
