When Justin Moore isn’t busy being a country music singer, one of his side jobs is being a host on a sports talk radio station in Little Rock, Arkansas. He also played a lot of baseball through high school, so with the World Series underway between the Phillies and the Astros, we wondered if Justin had any thoughts on the match-up, even though his team isn’t in contention this year.

“I’m a Braves fan. We were expected to maybe get back to the World Series after winnin’ it last year, but unfortunately lost in the divisional round to the Phillies. And the Phillies have not been great all year, and both teams came in kind of hot, and we just did not play well. And they played well, to their credit. But I think it’s gonna be a really good playoff. The Phillies kinda have the same look as we did last year, where we weren’t a great team all season but we came on really strong at the end. So, I would have to say right now, I’m gonna go with the Phillies.“
Just in case you haven’t been paying attention, the Phillies and Astros are currently tied at one game apiece in the best of seven series, with Game 3 of The World Series set for tonight (10/31), Game 4 Tuesday night (11/1), Game 5 Wednesday (11/2), and if necessary, Game 6 will be played Friday (11/4) and Game 7 would happen Saturday night (11/5) if the series gets that far.
