(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE TRIES TO MAINTAIN NORMALCY AT HOME FOR HIS KIDS

When Justin Moore is working, he is ‘country star Justin Moore’, but when he’s home with his family he says, “I just want to be normal. I want to be like everybody else.”

One way he maintains that normalcy is by coaching his daughters’ sports teams.  Justin says, “I coached their basketball team the last two years and then this past year I coached their softball team, and we actually went undefeated. I was assistant coach.  I mean it wasn’t because of me. We just had a really good team. So yeah, it’s a lot of fun to be able to be involved and be a normal dad.”

Justin knows that he chose his career and his kids didn’t, so he says, “I never want my decision to play music for a living and be a country music singer to affect them in a negative way, embarrass them, whatever. And so, we do the best that we can to try to make our lives as normal as possible, understanding that they’re not completely normal. And so me being able to do things like that, I hope helps in that regard.”

Justin just kicked off his Hell on a Highway Tour with special guest Dylan Scott.  Besides his hits, Justin will be sharing some of the music off his current album, Kinda Don’t Care, including the title track, which is his current single.
