(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE WAITS FOR GREAT SONG IDEAS TO COME TO HIM, RATHER THAN WRITING ON A SCHEDULE

Justin Moore has revealed that his next album will be called Late Nights and Longnecks, and it will feature his latest single, “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home.”  One reason it may take Justin a little longer than other artists to finish albums is because he’s not really great at writing songs out on the road while he’s touring.  Justin says, I’ve done it a lot and probably written some songs that people would remember but I don’t enjoy it as much. And that’s really why we did this album and the writing of it the way that we did, because I don’t care for coming out and sayin’, ‘Okay, we have to get this many songs.’”

Justin doesn’t write well on a schedule.  In fact, he says, “It’s kind of like why when I was in town, even my early publishing deals, I didn’t make a writing appointment at ten o’clock. I just don’t operate that way. It’s kind of the reason why I may write 30 songs in three months or I may not write a song for eight months. I just kind of wait for ‘em come to me and that’s just the way that I work. You know there are guys who do both and do both well, but I don’t personally enjoy that as much and I don’t think I’m as creative in that kind of zone.”

One thing is for sure, Justin found A LOT of great songs to record for his next album, so his fans should be very happy about the amount of music he’ll be giving them on Late Nights and Longnecks.
