Justin Moore released his self-titled debut album in 2009, and he admits when he first got started in the business, the things that surprised him the most were the amount of hard work that was really involved in and the fact that just having a song on the radio didn’t equal instant success. Justin says, “I remember back in the early, early days I didn’t get to travel around on a tour bus. We had a Top 15 song on the radio and I’m goin’, ‘Golly, what the hell’s it take to get a bus around here?’ We got a hit song out there.”

He quickly learned that getting a song on the radio was just the beginning. Justin says, “I think the amount of work and the amount of effort that you had to put in and continue to do so even after having success really surprised me.”

Fortunately, Justin eventually got his tour bus and he’s enjoyed a lot of success thanks to all his hard work. His latest single, “This Kind of Town,” is currently making its way up the charts.
