Justin Moore’s Kinda Don’t Care album is his fourth album, but he still remembers when he released his very first album back in 2009 and he says, “You know my first one it’s pretty surreal. When I moved to town I obviously had aspirations and goals and I wanted to be able to one day walk in Walmart or walk in Target or wherever and buy my album and see it there. The first time I actually did, I mean it’s really emotional. Because even if it’s not a success, I mean, just to see all the hard work.”
To this day, Justin knows that anytime he’s able to release an album it’s a big deal and there are a lot of people who make it possible. He says, “There’s a lot of hard work involved in getting a record deal, much less getting to make an album. And it’s not only me. My mom and dad both took second jobs to help me move here and pay my bills when I couldn’t pay them by myself. You know, there’s a lot of proverbial blood sweat and tears poured into this by a lot of people beyond just me and a lot of people have to make a lot of sacrifices. And the first time I actually saw it, it’s really emotional.”
Justin’s latest album, Kinda Don’t Care, debuted at #1 on the Country Albums chart, which had to be emotional in its own way. It features his #1 song, “You Look Like I Need A Drink,” and his latest single, “Somebody Else Will.”
