CURRENT SINGLE: “We Didn’t Have Much”
Justin Moore is an avid golfer, but he hasn’t done a whole lot of it during the pandemic. In fact, he says, “No, I have not played golf in probably six or seven months, which is probably the longest that I’ve gone without playing, to be honest with you.”
Justin doesn’t really know why he hasn’t gone golfing, because he says, “My wife has told me, ‘Hey, you can go play or whatever,’ through this whole strange time. But I kinda feel bad leaving her alone with the kids. And when you go, I mean, you’re talkin’ five hours or six … I mean, it’s half the day if you go play golf, by the time you get there and play and eat lunch and do all that.”
Normally, Justin feeds his golf habit when he’s out on tour, so that when he gets home he can spend time with the family, but since he hasn’t been touring this year he feels guilty about leaving his wife, Kate, with all four of their kids, even though she’s used to it whenever he leaves for days at a time for work. Plus, if we had to guess, she’d probably appreciate Justin getting out of the house for a few hours every once in a while.
