(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE’S LATEST SONG IS MORE THAN JUST A SONG

When Justin Moore decided to release “The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” as the first single off his next album, he wasn’t focused on how big a hit it would be or how high it would climb on the charts.  Justin explains, “You write some songs, and you think that could be a hit record or whatever. But with this one, once we had it written and especially once we had it recorded, I got to thinking, man this could be in the same type of manner in which ‘If Heaven Wasn’t So Far Away’ not only was a hit, but became an impact song, that impacted people’s lives positively.”

Of course hit songs are important to Justin and his career, and he says, “We never will take those for granted no matter what they’re about. But you know when you can do something bigger with music than that, that’s pretty special.”

“The Ones That Didn’t Make It Back Home” will be on Justin’s Late Nights and Longnecks album, which will be released on April 26th.

“You write some songs, and you think that could be a hit record or whatever. I thought man there’s an opportunity for this song to have that same type of impact.  And having hit songs is awesome and we never will take those for granted no matter what they’re about. But you know when you can do something bigger with music than that, that’s pretty special.”
