CURRENT SINGLE: “We Didn’t Have Much”
Justin Moore recently announced that he’ll be releasing his next album, Straight Outta the Country, next month. As the title implies, the new album leans heavily on Justin’s deep country roots, similar to his previous Late Nights and Longnecks album. And actually, if you liked Late Nights and Longnecks, you’re probably to like the songs on Straight Outta the Country, because Justin says the songs on the two albums, “A lot of ‘em were recorded at the same time. I would say the majority of ‘em, actually. Really, they came out of the same session for the most part.”
Justin had so many songs written and chosen when he recorded his Late Nights and Longnecks album that he could have made a double album. “We even talked about doing Late Nights and Longnecks – Version 1 and Version 2, or A and B, or whatever, because all of this music was written kind of at the same time. It was recorded at the same time. We didn’t end up going with that title, but yeah, it was definitely the same process, if you will.”
Straight Outta the Country, featuring Justin’s current single, “We Didn’t Have Much,” is available for pre-order now, and when you pre-order the album, you’ll get three songs as early instant downloads, ahead of the album’s April 23rd release date.
