(AUDIO) JUSTIN MOORE’S NINTH #1 SONG IS A SURREAL BLESSING

Justin Moore’s “Why We Drink” recently became his ninth #1 song of his career, and in a word, he says, “It’s surreal.  I mean I feel like I’ve said this every time we’ve had one.  It’s just kind of mind blowing.”

Of course Justin had big dreams when he first kicked off his career in country music.  “I mean, you hope when you get into it that you’re the next Garth Brooks or Hank Jr. or whatever,” Justin says, however “I don’t know that you ever realistically allow yourself to believe it’s gonna happen. You hope, but to be doing this now for 13 years and have our ninth #1 record, it’s crazy, man.  I can’t thank Country Radio enough and the fans enough for the support over the years.”

While Justin is still making great music and still turning out #1 songs, he knows he’s lucky to still have the career he has because he says, “I came out, I guess ’07, with a really talented group of artists that some of ‘em you still hear from and some you don’t.  And I don’t know why we’ve been able to last and some others haven’t, but I’m certainly thankful, that’s for sure”

For those who are missing live shows, Justin will be releasing his next album, Live at the Ryman, on September 25th.  It’s not a replacement for live shows, but if you put it on and sit back and listen, it will help you relive and reminisce about some of those live show vibes we all miss so much.
