CURRENT SINGLE: “We Didn’t Have Much”
Justin Moore has been singing and performing live shows for almost 15 years, and his voice is stronger than ever, which is fortunate, since he admits he doesn’t have much of a pre-show vocal care routine. “You know, I probably should’ve developed more things, pre-show, that are healthy for me than I have over the years,” admits Justin. “But I kinda just take the approach that if it ain’t broke, don’t try to fix it.”
Touring and singing a lot can take a toll on a singer’s vocal cords, but Justin says. “Knock on wood, I’ve had a lot of fortune with my voice staying strong all these years. I think it’s probably better now and stronger than it’s ever been. I think I’ve added low range to my voice without losing any of the upper.”
So, if he’s not doing anything extra special to prep his voice before shows, what has kept Justin’s voice so healthy and strong all these years? He laughs and says, “I don’t know what to attribute that to … maybe whiskey.”
