Lady A has been together as a band for almost 15 years, so we figured during that time there had to be some nicknames created. Dave Haywood says, “I grew up with Charles. We would always call Charles ‘Chuckie Slice,’ and I don’t know if that was because of his golf game or not. He was always Chuckie Slice and Hill has always been just Hills or Hill. That one’s pretty simple for her.”
As for Dave, since Chuckie Slice and Hill weren’t around when we were talking about nicknames, he said, “What is my nickname? Probably Dreamy, you know, something like that. No I’m kidding.”
All jokes aside, Lady is currently climbing the charts with their latest single, “Champagne Night,” and they’re working on some cool things for their fans that will be coming later this year.
