CURRENT SINGLE: “Like A Lady”
Lady A just kicked off their What a Song Can Do Tour this past weekend, and one of the things they were excited about doing was getting back into their routines on the road, like their pre-show bonding moments. According to Charles Kelley, “We try to have a moment where we all hang together for at least 30, 45 minutes before a show. You hear some stories about some bands that literally see each other for the first time all day on stage, and that’s not us.”
Besides that get together before they go on stage, Charles says, “We’re outside kinda workin’ out together if we want, or Dave and I we go and play some golf or something. There’s a lot of stuff that just throughout the day is kind of what we do. But the main ritual, all gettin’ together before a lot of shows and sayin’ a little prayer and all just huddlin’ up together.”
Lady A’s What A Song Can Do Tour with special guests Carly Pearce, Niko Moon and Tenille Arts runs through October 10th. You can see the full itinerary on ladyamusic.com.
