Among the three members of Lady Antebellum, they have six kids, and several of them have started expressing an interest in different careers. For now, it looks like Charles might be raising a little musician. Hillary Scott says, “I’ll never forget, we were in tour rehearsals last summer, and Ward ended up with a little, like toy guitar, and would not get off the stage. Like, he wanted to perform.”
Just like any kid, Charles’ three-and-a-half-year-old son will likely change his mind many times, but for now he says, “When you ask him now what does he want to do when he grows up, he says, “Be a singer.” And I don’t know if he really knows what that means. And he’s like, ‘Be a singer like Daddy.’”
Hillary Scott has three daughters – one 6-year-old, and twins, who are 19-months-old – and she says, “My oldest, Eisele (EYES-lee), wants to be a dog washer. I’m like, ‘A groomer?’ She goes, ‘No, a dog washer.’ I’m like, ‘Okay, cool. I’ll ask you again next week, it’ll be something different.’”
Lady Antebellum will soon be releasing details about their new album, which will be released before the end of the year, featuring their current single, “What If I Never Get Over you.”
