It’s that time of year when most kids have gone back to school to start a new year, including Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott’s six-year-old daughter, Eisele (EYES-lee). This got Hillary thinking back on some of her school memories and one of her favorite teachers. “I went to a private school and was there fifth grade through graduation,” she says. “And so I had a lot of years with the same teachers and the same students. And I would say, it’s hard to pick a favorite teacher, but one that sticks out to me right now is a woman by the name of Nancy Hinrich, and she was my eighth grade science teacher. And I’ll never forget, because my mom and dad got pregnant with my sister when I was in eighth grade, and before the end of that school year she threw me a big sister shower for having a little sister, and just really went above and beyond to just nurture her students.”
Lady Antebellum just announced their first new album on their new BMLG Records home will be called Ocean, and will be released on November 15th, featuring their latest single, “What If I Never Get Over You.”
