(AUDIO) LADY ANTEBELLUM’S KIDS ARE FANS OF THEIR MUSIC AND MORE

All of the members of Lady Antebellum have kids, and they all like exposing their kids to different kinds of music. Hillary Scott says, “We play a lot of music constantly.  We have a couple albums that are just lullabies that we have playin’, especially at witching hour when my twin girls are getting really cranky before bed. But even our music, there’s a couple of songs in this first batch that we’ve recorded that, one song, in particular named ‘Pictures,’ and the second the song starts. Both my twin girls just start swaying. It just gets ‘em moving.  And Dave I think your two to do the same thing. I mean it’s really sweet. You can definitely see it’s in ‘em.”

Besides Lady Antebellum’s music, Dave Haywood says, “My son and daughter really love pop music so it’s a lot of Justin Timberlake and Bruno Mars and stuff, just stuff to dance to.”

And Charles Kelley‘s three-year-old son Ward loves music so much that Charles says, “There’s not a night that goes by, I mean you cannot put Ward down without at least singing three songs to him. It’s like part of the routine, you know, and same three songs, but he will not go to bed without myself or my wife singin’ at least two or three songs to him.”

Lady Antebellum is currently working on a new album to release later this year, featuring their current single, “What If I Never Get Over You,” which means their kids are probably getting to listen to a lot of new Lady A music these days.
