Maddie & Tae have an EP out now, featuring their first #1 song, “Girl in a Country Song,” and their new single, “Fly,” and later this year they’re planning to release their first full-length studio album. When asked how autobiographical the album will be, Maddie Marlow says, “Oh gosh, it is pretty spot on.” Tae Dye agrees and says, “Dead, spot on.”
While they certainly took some creative license in the songwriting process and every song may not be completely their own personal stories word for word, Maddie says, “There’s definitely some songs that were inspired by other people’s stories that really inspired us, but a lot of them are our own stories and experiences.”

Maddie & Tae have been announced as performers in this year’s Arizona Super bowl festivities. The girls will be headlining the opening night of the Verizon Super Bowl Central on Wednesday (1/28). Also, the duo has announced several show dates in Australia in March.
