When it comes to preparing the Thanksgiving meal, Midland’s bassist, Cameron Duddy, has a pretty big job, but lead singer Mark Wystrach’s family won’t let him do much of anything.
Midland – Thanksgiving role in kitchen :28
Cameron Duddy – “I cook the bird.”
Mark Wystrach – “I go to my parents’, and they do everything. I drink beer and keep the fire goin’.
Cameron – “The fire, if thot goes down, the vibes go down.”
Mark – “Those football games won’t watch themselves.”
Cameron – “Nuh-uh, no way. By the way, the way I got the turkey deal, like, I just set it and then forget it. I’ll come back later.“
Mark – “My mom is just such like a DIY person. She won’t let you do anything. Like, as a kid, you know most kids, parents will make you mow the lawn. My mom wouldn’t let us mow the lawn.”
Cameron – “She probably didn’t like the way you were gonna do it.”
After a short break from The Last Resort: Greetings From Tour for Thanksgiving, Midland will head to Hawaii for two shows, and then onto Australia, where they will finish up the year with eight shows Down Under.
