Ask any good hair-stylist and they’ll tell you they know what Martina McBride’s latest hair cut is. That’s because of the requests to duplicate it. We’ve seen her set a lot of trends, everything from the short-short cut in her “Independence Day” video, to her longer hair style in “Blessed.”
With the release of her new video for “Reckless,” now the question is…Which cut? Because whether it’s really hers or not, most women will gasp the first time they see Martina ‘recklessly’ take a pair of scissors to her beautiful, long hair as a chunk of it fall to the ground!
Although that will definitely be a conversation piece, the song and video has a much greater message: One of having gratitude for unconditional love. Martina says when it came time to shoot, she wasn’t the only one with the idea for the overall storyline…

Martina – had the same idea as the video director :23
“It was funny, I never spoke to the director about the idea, but when the treatment came back, he kinda had the same idea. He built this cool looking wall that has all these words and emotions kinda layered underneath all this different wallpaper. And I just kinda start peeling away the layers and revealing ya know emotions, ya know dark emotions and positive emotions. And so it was like the perfect idea for the video.”
