Martina McBride has a passion for cooking and says her cookbook allows her to express that. She was recently invited to share some recipes on ABC’s The Chew, where she whipped up a southern peach cobbler.
With 20-top-10 singles, and having just released her 8th album, she’s obviously known more for her music, but says, “I think since doing the book, people who know the book or bought the book see that side of me.”
At times though, interest in what she’s having for dinner surprises even her!

Martina – pictures of food :16
“I know, that eggplant thing went crazy! It had 6,400 shares or something and I was like, ‘Wow!’ I mean food is something that you share and it’s meant to be celebrated. And so it’s fun to be able to have that sort of outlet ya know…to have an excuse to post pictures of food. (laughs)”
