(AUDIO) MIDLAND ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO ‘MAKE A LITTLE’ LOVE

Midland just released their brand new single, “Make A Little,” which is a contrast to their more somber #1 song, “Drinkin’ Problem.”  Mark Wystrach jokes, “If you just play ‘Drinkin Problem’ backwards on your record player, it’s ‘Make A Little’”

Jess Carson adds, “And much, much faster.”  But in all seriousness, he says, “No, they’re two different sides of the coin. ‘Drinkin’ Problem’, obviously, is a bit of a tongue-in-cheek song that is about sort of a darker place, whereas ‘Make A Little’ is the brighter, you know, flip side to that, kind of a commentary on what’s going on in the world and let’s just forget about it and make some love.”

While the song references the physical act of love, with lines like, “We should make a little, consummate a little …” some people are adopting the song as a message of spreading love, kindness and goodness in the world.
