Midland’s latest single, “Make A Little,” is closing in on the top 15 on the charts, and the guys say the goal of the song is simple – to encourage dancing, which is often the start of love in a honky tonk. According to lead singer Mark Wystrach, “‘Make A Little’ is a song that we wrote about something that we think that everybody could always use a little bit more in their lives, and that’s love. Talking about once the lights go off and maybe without your clothes. It’s a bit of an homage back to the late 80s, 90s honky tonk kind of rock ‘n roll songs that made everybody get up and go dancing man, and two-stepping, and that’s usually how it all starts right there on the dance floor. So, get up there and dance to ‘Make a Little.’”
“Make A Little” is the second release off of Midland’s debut album, On the Rocks, which was named the best album of all genres in 2017 by The Washington Post.
