2017 was an incredible year for Midland and 2018 is off to a great start, with the guys heading to NYC this weekend for the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, where they are nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and Best Country Song for “Drinkin’ Problem.” For Cameron Duddy, the nominations are special because he says, “the Grammys are the pinnacle of musical achievement.”
Midland also knows they are in good company in both categories. “Everybody that we are nominated with we have so much respect for,” says Jess Carson. “People that we’ve looked up to for a long time, so we’re so honored to be associated with these other nominees.”
Mark Wystrach calls the nominations “surreal” and “amazing.”
Midland heads to the Grammy Awards with their current single, “Make A Little,” sitting in the top 15 on the charts and still climbing. You can watch the 60th Annual Grammy Awards at 8pm/7pm CT on CBS.
