Midland has been on the road non-stop in 2017 promoting their debut single, “Drinkin’ Problem,” their current single, “Make A Little,” and their debut album, On The Rocks. They’ve played fairs, festivals, guitar pulls, their own shows and have opened for people like Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw & Faith Hill and Jon Pardi. So as Thanksgiving approaches, Jess Carson says, “We’ll just kind of take an inventory of what has gone on in 2017. There’s so much it’s been a whirlwind and we haven’t even really had a moment to stop and kind of look back and reflect on it.”
It’s been a while since the guys have had more than one day off at a time, so Cameron Duddy says, “I have a big family so we always get together and eat food and rib each other and have drinks and watch football. It’s always a Dallas game on, it’s usually cold wherever we’re at, so chopping firewood and making a fire and petting the dog and having a couple of beers.”
After some time off for Thanksgiving, Midland will have about another dozen shows through the end of the year, including a New Year’s Eve show with Kid Rock in Kansas City.

Cameron Duddy – “It may be the first time we’ll have actually a couple of days in a row off. I have a big family so we always get together and eat food and rib each other and have drinks and watch football. It’s always a Dallas game on, it’s usually cold wherever we’re at, so chopping firewood and making a fire and petting the dog and having a couple of beers.”
