Midland’s Cameron Duddy has been a father to his son Kitt for six years now, but he says, “I’m just still so blown away by him just standing in front of me that I’ll just stare at him and fully creep him out, and how much he doesn’t look like me. It’s so weird.”
Kitt has a head full of curly blonde hair, but just knowing he had a part in giving him life, Cameron says, “It’s a miracle. It’s totally a miracle to see him. And it’s still not worn off.”
In fact, the miracle makes Cameron quite emotional. “Even like bedtime, and him getting a little back rub at night and falling asleep, and I’ll just stick around,” says Cameron, “I don’t know, I’m really sentimental that way. In a lot of other ways I’m pretty pragmatic and coldhearted, but when it comes to Kitt, man, it’s still a mind blower.”
Now Cameron has two miracles in his life, since the birth of his daughter, Billie, who will turn two in April.
