(AUDIO) MIDLAND’S FAMILIES GO HARD AT CHRISTMAS

Midland will certainly have plenty to celebrate when they gather with their families this holiday season, including their #1 song, “Drinkin’ Problem,” their current hit, “Make A Little” and their critically acclaimed and award nominated album, On the Rocks.  For Cameron Duddy, Christmas is a time when his family goes all out.  “We go hard in my family…  Black Friday is Christmas, man, and It’s A Wonderful Life always on the eve of Christmas.”

Mark Wystrach’s family is much the same.  “My mom is like, Christmas is her favorite holiday and she goes all the way out and it’s kind of crazy how much she does it,” says Mark.  “But to me it was always about the music, like my mom just blasts all the classics.  You know, she loves like The Mormon Tabernacle Choir singing “Oh (Little Town of) Bethlehem” and “O Holy Night” and stuff like that.”

Jess Carson, who grew up on a Christmas tree farm, has never tired of Christmas trees and their festive aroma.  He says, “You’d think that I would be sick of that smell of the Christmas tree but every year nothing says Christmas to me like that smell.”

After about two weeks off for the holidays, Midland will finish out the year with Chris Janson on December 30th and Kid Rock on New Year’s Eve.

Cameron –  “That’s it? Oh dude, we go hard in my family, like right after …

Mark – “The day after Thanksgiving?”

Cameron – “Yeah, it’s on dude.  Black Friday is Christmas, man, and It’s A Wonderful Life always on the eve of Christmas.”

Jess Carson – “I grew up on a Christmas tree farm and you’d think that I would be sick of that smell of the Christmas tree but every year nothing says Christmas to me like that smell.”
