(AUDIO) MIDLAND’S MARK WYSTRACH BOWLED A STRIKE WITH HIS FAVORITE HALLOWEEN COSTUME

Looking back on Halloween’s past, Mark Wystrach of Midland says his favorite costume, hands down, was the year he dressed up as Jeffrey “The Dude” Lebowski, the slacker and avid bowler, from the movie The Big Lebowski.  According to Mark, “I didn’t cut my hair or really my beard for like 4 years. And The Big Lebowski, to me, it’s the perfect film, and Cam, and now his wife, were notorious for like hosting these Halloween parties.  And unbeknownst to him I went to the Salvation Army and I got the robe that looked just like Lebowski’s for a dollar. I got the sandals, I wore just a pair of boxers, and I shaved the exact goatee. I got the glasses, and I went and got enough vodka, cream and Kahlua to make myself enough White Russians to get me through the night. And I went in full character as Lebowski.”

Photos still exist somewhere of Mark’s epic get up, but he’s okay with that because he says, “It was the most fun I’ve ever had doing Halloween and dress up.”

Meanwhile, Midland is about to break into the top 20 on the charts with their latest single, “Burn Out,” while they continue to work on the follow-up to the debut On the Rocks album.
