Midland lead singer, Mark Wystrach, and his fiancée, Ty Haney, announced some big news on Friday. “My beautiful fiancée and I are gonna have a beautiful baby girl in November.”
Ty first announced the news when she posted a picture of her small baby bump and said, “Baby on board or too many donuts? Lil cowgirl on the way.” This will be Mark and Ty’s first child, and he says, “It’s all come aligned at the perfect time in both our lives, and we’re both just equally terrified and equally, absolutely thrilled to go through this together and to bring a child into this world and to start a little beautiful family.”
Mark has another baby of sorts due on August 23rd, in the form of Midland’s new album, Let It Roll, featuring their latest single, “Mr. Lonely,” which means life is about to get very busy, but he says, “Someone once told me it’s like drinking life in through a fire hydrant, and that’s what it’s like.”
But Mark and Ty aren’t worries about being busy, because according to him, “Tyler and I are both hyperactive, we’re both incredibly high energy, and we’re both much better off when we’ve got a lot on our plates, and we both rise up to the challenge.”
So even though being on tour, preparing to release a new album and preparing to have your first child are all pretty demanding events, when it comes to having his first child, Mark says, “I think this is just gonna be the greatest challenge, but the most fulfilling and probably the most scary and the most fun challenge we’ve ever been through.”
