(AUDIO) Mother’s Day At Martina McBride’s House Includes Breakfast In Bed

Martina McBride’s new album, Reckless, just came out last week. And she’s now looking forward to playing the music for her fans. Her concert schedule is looking full this summer, with more dates to be added.

With Mother’s Day coming up this weekend (May 8), the working mom is looking forward to spending some quality time with her family. Delaney is now 21 and lives in Nashville. Emma just turned 18 and is getting ready to head out to college. And her youngest, Ava Rose, is 10. Martina says they have a McBride tradition that she looks forward to every Mother’s Day…

Martina – Mother’s Day :20
“Mother’s Day for us is always pretty laid back. It’s kind of a tradition that the girls bring me breakfast in bed. So that’s always really sweet. And we sit on the bed and talk and then ya know we never really have specific plans for Mother’s Day, um revolves around food pretty much. So it’s either we go out to eat or we might go shopping or we might just hang out at the house together. It’s pretty low key, but it’s really sweet.”
