(AUDIO) NASHVILLE Has Created Many Cool Opportunities For Chris Carmack

Chris Carmack, who plays Will Lexington on ABC’s Nashville, says being on the show has opened the door to some amazing opportunities outside of the show, including getting to sing in the round at the famous Bluebird Café, getting to perform at the Grand Ole Opry, and getting to perform for thousands of people on the Bridgestone Arena stage in the city of Nashville.

One particular cool moment Chris will never forget was getting to meet singer Keb Mo. He says, “I auditioned for the show using one of his songs, and then I met him back stage one time at Music City Roots (a weekly live music event). He looks at me and goes, ‘Hey, you’re famous.’ I looked at him, I was like, ‘So are you, man!’ It was just, I was kind of a surreal moment because I’ve been in Hollywood so long I don’t geek out much about actors, but I still geek out a little bit about musicians that I admire.”

New episodes of NASHVILLE return to ABC on Wednesday, March 16th.
