Clare Bowen, who plays Scarlett O’Connor on ABC’s Nashville believes her character is turning a corner on the show and she’s happy with the positive direction she seems to be moving in as season three gets underway.

“Well, she is at a crossroads and that’s where we left her and she’s come out of her shell. I think she’s realized that she can ask for what she wants and not just please everybody else. It’s a wonderful, eye-opening moment as a person when you go, ‘oh hang on, I can do this, I can really do this.’ So, that’s where she is and the scripts are enormous, there is so much in them the production team can barely keep up. They’re having lots of fun trying and we’re making it as difficult as possible. They keep losing actors, they keep running around the set and hiding. It’s so much fun and there’s just so much. So, keep your expectations high, we’ll meet them.”
