(AUDIO) NOAH SCHNACKY LOVES THE IDEA OF COUNTRY MUSIC BEING A FAMILY

Noah Schnacky recently released his debut single, “I’ll Be the One,” to country radio, and while it could be classified as pop country, similar to Dan & Shay or Kelsea Ballerini’s style of country, Noah knew he always wanted to be in country music because of the family aspect of the community.  For instance, Noah says, “There is nothing like watching Reba lead an awards show and turn a room of fifteen thousand people into three.  And the way she calls out someone in the crowd like Jason Aldean, or whoever it was, and like can just melt an audience and remind us all that it’s one big family – that we’re all in this for the same thing, that we all want to make good music, that we all want to be loved and show others that love.  And like, that aspect of country music is what drew me to it.”

Noah also loves how country music stars seem accessible and are willing to share their personal lives and their relationships with their fans. Taking the family aspect of country music a step further, he says, “Talk about the perspectives and relationships that like Kane Brown and Jason Aldean have between like their wives, or the perspective of how fun and lighthearted the relationships seem to be.  I mean, I don’t know ‘em personally, but from an outsider’s perspective they seem like they have a ball.”

Noah hopes one day to be in his own relationship that he can share with people, and it’s that hope that inspires him to write songs about finding love like, “I’ll Be the One.”

“The reason I chose country music as a genre for me is because of the family aspect. There is nothing like watching Reba lead an awards show and turn a room of fifteen thousand people into three.  And the way she calls out someone in the crowd like Jason Aldean, or whoever it was, and like can just melt an audience and remind us all that it’s one big family – that we’re all in this for the same thing, that we all want to make good music, that we all want to be loved and show others that love. And like, that aspect of country music is what drew me to it and to go deeper into that and talk about the perspectives and relationships that like Kane Brown and Jason Aldean have between like their wives, or the perspective of how fun and lighthearted the relationships seem to be.  I mean, I don’t know ‘em personally, but from an outsider’s perspective they seem like they have a ball.”
