CURRENT SINGLE: “Slow Down Summer”
In Thomas Rhett’s latest single, “Slow Down Summer,” he wants summer to slow down to prolong his summer romance, but in real life, \there are so many things Thomas loves about summer that make him wish it would stick around forever. “That’s the time where we get to tour, we get to play outside, we get to play festivals, and when we do have a little bit of vacation we get to go down to the beach with my family. We just love the beach.”
Besides the fact that Thomas is extremely cold natured, to the point that he often keeps the air conditioner off on his tour bus even in the summer, Thomas says his whole family loves going to the beach during the summer for a lot of reasons. “We love gettin’ in the water, we love ridin’ boogie boards, skim boardin’, paddle boardin’, looking for crabs at night, building fires on the beach. There is nothing better than a summer on the beach with your kids.”
So, not only does Thomas Rhett wish he could “Slow Down Summer,” he’d be happy if summer would stick around all year long.
