Oliver Hudson, who plays the somewhat villainous Jeff Fordham, the president of Edgehill Records on ABC’s Nashville, was thrilled to have his character promoted to series regular for season three of the show. Until now, Oliver’s character was a recurring role on the show but he says they approached him before the start of the new season about joining the cast on a fulltime basis and he was happy for the invitation, although he admits it does have one drawback. “I’ve got the three kids at home (in Los Angeles), so it’s tough. I’m back and forth all the time. My frequent fliers are, I’m reachin’ statuses that no one’s ever seen before. But, it’s worth it. It’s great. Great crew, great cast, just a fun place to be.”
Season three of Nashville will premiere on September 24th on ABC.
